Plot Summary
Three of Naomi's associates are found by Jack and Kate, and Charlotte is found by Locke's group. There is much tension between Sawyer and Ben. Sawyer repeatedly beats Ben, but Locke talks him out of killing Ben. The two survivors found by Jack and Kate carry weapons, and have a case of gas masks and biohazardous material. Upon finding out that Juliet is one of the "natives," Naomi's associates with Jack and Kate question Juliet, and they admit that the reason that they are there is not to rescue the survivors, but to find Ben. It is revealed that their helicopter is still intact, and Jack, Kate, Sayid, Juliet, and three of Naomi's associates, along with Naomi's body intend to fly to the freighter. Meanwhile, Locke prepares to kill Ben after Ben shoots Charlotte, who is saved by a bulletproof vest. However, Ben talks him out of it by revealing that he has extensive knowledge of Charlotte's team, including their supposed goal: to find him. He claims to have got the information about the team from a man he has on their boat.
